Celebrate with over 4,000 attendees during Good Shepherd's 38th annual International Festival on Monday September 2.
This multicultural festival features ethnic foods & drinks, live entertainment, children's games, Artisan Row, bingo, and a Raffle with a grand prize of $10,000 cash.
CHAIR FOR WHITE ELEPHANT
We need a Chair to organize the White Elephant Sale for our International Festival 2013!!
The White Elephant sale is an important part of our annual Festival.The White Elephant contributes to the parish and community by providing an opportunity for parishioners to donate household items and for members of our community to buy reasonably priced goods for their homes.
Proceeds help fund the Shepherd's Gate Grant Program, which supports non-profit groups serving the poor and less fortunate locally and around the world.

Festival proceeds benefit the Shepherd's Gate grant program benefiting non-profit organizations that protect the battered, feed the hungry, house the homeless, and assist the poor and disenfranchised. Thanks to our sponsors and supporters of last year's festival, $37,000 was recently awarded to 13 local, national, and international organizations. (See Shepherd's Gate.)
The festival will be outdoors on the grounds of Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 8710 Mt. Vernon Highway. Shuttle service is provided from parking at Mount Vernon High School. All are welcome to attend, celebrate, and ultimately assist folks in need.
